I use to think the golden rule was great... until I got married. That is when I realized, at times, the rule is flawed.


We should be respectful and kind to others just as we would want them to be to us. However the elite communicators understand that we are all different with different needs and expectations. Therefore all should be treated uniquely.


Treating everyone the same is nice. But treating someone uniquely is special.
