Elon Musk and I both have the same 24 hours a day. But I am sure that he has learned how to get the most out of every moment. In 7 Habits of highly effective people, we learn that there are 4 quadrants of time management: 1 Urgent and Important 2. Important no Urgent 3. Urgent not Important 4. Not Important and Not Urgent.
Most people spend so much time in quadrant 1 and 3, that they use quadrant 4 to reduce stress, giving the least amount of time to the most productive and important quadrant 2.
Top Sales Professionals learn to not procrastinate on task and duties so that they do not become overwhelming urgent and important task (Q1). They also learn not to take on other peoples problem (Q3), until it is convenient for them to do so.
Learn how to operate more efficiently in Q2 so that when you are enjoying time in Q4 you don't have to feel guilty about it.
