Someone should have told me #7

People come and go but the right ones stay.

I have had friendships that have lasted since the 3rd grade. I have also had people come into my life, where I gave up my identity to try to get them to stay. I wish I would have known back then the words by Lecrae, "If you live for people's acceptance, you will die from their rejeciton."

You will never have to chase the right relationships in your life. They will naturally form. It is true, Some people come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. The problem is when we place the incorrect purpose on the wrong person.

The right person doesn't need you to be better. The right person makes you better.
