Some one should have told me #8

Never look back, there is nothing there for you.

Dr. Tony Evans shares a metaphor of life focus and driving. The purpose of the rear view mirror is to glance to see what is behind. This is particularly important, just before you change lanes. Your windshield is much larger than your rear view mirror so that you can clearly see where you are going. If you drove looking through the rear view mirror instead of the windshield you will crash.

You should not live your life focusing on your past. Learn from your past, glance at it in order to learn so that your future decisions are good choices. If you spend your energy and time focusing on what you could have done better, or on "I wish I would have," you may miss out on your "I could"
